Preventing Overdose Fatalities

A new SPH study found that when opioid overdoses are witnessed, the chances of death go down significantly. The study also found that better distributing reversal drugs like naloxone can greatly reduce overdose deaths.

Community Engagement in Healthy Aging

“One of the important things the Center for Health Aging and Innovation has done is build a budget to support community engagement. Often the community says: ‘Nothing for us, or about us, without us.’ Providing a stipend for community members acknowledges that the time they spend with us is precious and we value their lived experiences, because we can’t do this work without them.”
